Will my insurance cover my visit?
While I don't take payment from third parties (insurance companies), I am able to provide information necessary for you to submit bill for reimbursement and obtain credit toward deductible. I recommend calling insurance company prior to a session so everything is clear.
Why should I consider 'self-pay'?
Insurance changes have led to high premiums, high deductibles, and high co-pays. With costs increasing, you get more for your money with high quality care that allows a quicker recovery. I recommend knowing what actual cost will be when choosing your provider.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel 24 hours prior to appointment with no penalty or fee. If you cancel with short notice, are not present at the location agreed upon there will be a $50 cancellation fee. I always consider special circumstances.

How do I pay for the visit?
I accept cash and Venmo as my most common forms of payment. Checks work well, they can be made directly to Island Physical Therapy. I can take a credit card but will need to charge a3% service charge. I typically receive payment on the day of service but we can make other arrangements on a case by case basis.

Visits typically take place in your home. I will bring a range of supplies depending on your condition. I have a portable treatment table, and various exercise equipment.
Some visits may take place at a gym, I currently will work with Nantucket Health Club.
